Excerpt From "Our Voices Matter" About The DRC Authorities' Disregard To A Woman's Report Of Rape

An old rural woman, Elisabeth Kandolo, from eastern DRC is a survivor of rape by the DRC soldiers. In this excerpt, she shares her story of her effort to report her rape to the local court and police. An effort that ended with a lack of response or follow up by authorities to her situation.
